About me

I started SlavicHome to make home warranty plans easy to follow. Each plan shows the covered items, limits and exclusions up front.

If a covered item fails from normal use, send me a service request. I match it with a local, qualified technician.

Using your coverage

How Coverage Works

  1. Step 1

    Pick Coverage

Choose coverage for your home systems, your appliances or both. Every covered item is listed in your contract.

  2. Step 2

    Coverage Starts

Coverage starts after a short waiting period. Each item needs to be in working order on the day it begins.

  3. Step 3

    Request Service

If a covered system or appliance breaks down from normal use, send me a service request online with the details.

  4. Step 4

    Covered Repair

A matched technician checks the item. A covered repair or replacement goes ahead for your set service fee.

Homes Where Coverage Tends to Help Most

  • You just moved in

You may not know the age of the furnace or the water heater yet.

  • Your appliances are getting older

Machines past their early years tend to need repairs more often.

  • You like a set amount per repair

A set service fee makes each covered repair easier to plan for.

Homeowner stories

What Homeowners Say About Their Coverage

“My furnace quit on a cold night. I sent a service request, a local technician was matched to it, and the covered repair went through for the set fee.”

Elton R.Homeowner

“Before I signed, every covered item was listed in plain words. When the dishwasher stopped draining, I already knew it was on my plan.”

Mavis T.Homeowner

“My water heater gave out after years of use. The fault was checked against my plan, and the replacement was handled under my coverage.”

Winston G.Homeowner

“I put the washer and dryer on the same plan as my heating and plumbing. One plan for the whole house is so much easier to keep track of.”

Colette B.Homeowner

“A breaker in the kitchen kept tripping. I sent the details online, got matched with a technician, and the panel repair was covered.”

Questions Homeowners Ask Me First

Still not sure?

Send your question and I will reply by email with a clear answer.

Send a Question

Age alone does not rule it out. The item has to be working on the day your plan starts and be in normal shape for its age.

Repair comes first. If a covered item cannot be repaired, a replacement may follow under the terms and limits in your plan.

I match each service request with a local, vetted technician. You get their details before any repair work on your home starts.

The technician explains the cause. I then walk you through why it falls outside your plan, and fixing it stays your choice.

Most plans run for one year. Near the end of the term, you can renew the same coverage or change what is on your plan.
